1st Annual Yamamoto Classic

The 1st Annual Yamamoto Classic tournament was hosted this past week on beautiful Lake Guntersville. This special one-day event was open to the public as well as professional anglers who used Yamamoto products exclusively to bring in some pretty big bags.

The event was attended by local sticks, a couple of pro heavy-hitters; Classic winner Boyd Duckett, the Legend, Roland Martin, Forrest Wood Cup winner Kevin Hawk, as well as a bit of Nashville charm – Country Hall of Famers Bobby Bare and Jeff Cook. We were even enjoyed the company of an angler all the way from Portugal – Pedro Felix.

The winning fish came on the Yamamoto Flappin’ Hog on the Pro side, and a 5″ Swim Bait on the Am side, but a large majority of the fish came on the new Yama Frog, the Saltwater Swim Bait, Flappin’ Hogs as well as spinner baits and buzz baits and the Chikara crankbaits. Now you know what to use on Guntersville right now!
