About Buckeye Lures
Buckeye Lures was founded in 2000 by providing angler-designed tackle and products around the local tackle shops surrounding Clark Hill Lake. In 2001, then Buckeye Lures Owoner, Roy Altman noticed a need for a stand-up jighead to be used with all soft plastics. During his travels on the pro tournament circuit. Thus, the Spot Remover was born. Fast forward to current day and there are few fishermen that are not familiar with Buckeye Lures. Legacy products like the Spot Remover, Mop Jig, Su-Spin, and Ballin’ Out Jig, paired with newer offerings such as the Freestyle Head, Scope Head and Spot Remover New Head have kept Buckeye Lures firmly established at the center of the pro tournament scene and in the tackle boxes of hardcore bass anglers everywhere.
