Who Wore it Best – Guntersville Edition

Every year the B.A.S.S. wives look forward to walking the red carpet at the Night of Champions banquet prior to the Bassmaster Classic. After watching their husbands shine all year in garish jerseys and metalflaked boats, it’s their turn to glimmer with various levels of sequins and silk.
Meanwhile, their husbands for the most part look miserable. Not only are they listening to speeches when they could be preparing for the tournament, but a coat and tie is not part of their natural state, and without a hat on even I can’t recognize most of them. Accordingly, we’re left with a bunch of raccoon-eyed awkwardness.
So which wives looked best?
Did you really think I was going to go there? First off, they all looked great. Second of all, I’m not qualified to judge any sort of fashion contest. Perhaps most importantly, I don’t need to get my ass kicked.
But if you want to know the leading contender for the 2020 Inside Line Peteys High Fashion Award (brought to you by Louis Vuitton) right now 2-year-old Shiloh Lester holds the top spot. Her daddy Brandon Lester finished a solid 7th in the tournament, but his daughter stole the show.
The Beer Eye for the Bass Guy fashion judges assessed her as follows: “Timeless style, bold color choices, flattering cut. We can’t wait to see how she tops it next year.”
