Fall 2026 New Senko Colors

Just in time for Fall fishing, Yamamoto Baits is excited to announce the release of four new Senko colors: Baby Morning Dawn, Strawberry Laminate, Pink Lemonade, and Bloody Mary. The Inside Line spoke with GSM Product Development Manager, Jack Dice who gave us a quick run down on the  latest offerings.

Baby Morning Dawn

“Baby Morning Dawn is taking the best of two of my favorite clear water colors of all time, Morning Dawn and Baby Bass and putting them together. It's the clear translucent shimmery base of Baby Bass but essentially instead of a green worm it is a pink worm. It's a good clear water bait fish imitator. It's really good for spotted bass and smallmouth and I have caught a ton of fish on it.”

Strawberry Laminate

“This is a color that I came up with, it reflects my background being more in clear water fisheries. In the summertime all over the country reds dominate. Whether it is plum or red bug, reds seem to do well, but traditionally that occurs on lakes that have a little bit of color in the water. It seems like when you get to the super clear bodies of water, the straight reds don't play but the fish still seem to like having some red. So Strawberry Laminate is a watermelon/green pumpkin back with a muted red belly and it is a great clear water version. It's not strictly a summertime color but that was certainly the inspiration.”

Pink Lemonade

“If natural and kinda finessey is the realm of Baby Morning Dawn and Strawberry Laminate, then Pink Lemonade goes the exact opposite way. It's a neon sign for fish. It's a bright pink with a bright chartreuse belly and that color is inspired by the colors that have gotten popular in the swimbait world. Extremes in fishing seem to play. If you can't get bit, you try going small or going big. With colors you go either super finesse or super bright and that's what Pink Lemonade is for. It's great for sight fishing but it is really spotted bass and smallmouth oriented. It's meant to make them mad, it's a bright color that they are gonna see from a long way. So whether you're fishing dirty water and you want something they can see or you're fishing for those aggressive species of bass, it's a good color for that."

Bloody Mary

“The last color we are introducing is Bloody Mary, it's kind of a West Coast staple that a lot of our Western team members were requesting. It's a deep Delta Red with a green pumpkin back laminate color. It's your ultimate crawfish imitator. Either punchin' grass in the Delta or flippin' prespawn wood in Texas, it's got that deep red that those fish seem to really love in the prespawn or when they are feeding on crawfish.”
