What’s Your Number?

Sitting here thinking about how many places there are that the major tours no longer visit, and how many paper topo maps Rick Clunn must’ve accumulated over the years and I started to wonder how many tour venues I’ve visited. Even when you consider only fisheries that B.A.S.S. and FLW have fished – and none of the smaller places I might’ve gone for other reasons, the number stack up quickly.

Places I’ve Fished (26):

  • Potomac

  • Upper Chesapeake Bay

  • James River

  • Buggs Island

  • Lake Gaston

  • Albemarle Sound

  • Smith Mountain Lake

  • Lake Okeechobee

  • Kissimmee Chain

  • Lake Guntersville

  • Wheeler Lake

  • Pickwick Lake

  • Logan Martin

  • Sam Rayburn

  • Toledo Bend

  • Lake Fork

  • Falcon Reservoir

  • Louisiana Delta

  • Table Rock Lake

  • California Delta

  • Lake Erie (Buffalo)

  • Lake St. Clair

  • Lake Michigan (Bay de Noc)

  • Lake Minnetonka

  • Mille Lacs

  • Lake Ferguson (Mississippi River)

Places I’ve Covered Tournaments (but have not fished) (13):

  • Santee Cooper

  • Tennessee River

  • Red River

  • Hartwell

  • Ouachita

  • Kentucky Lake

  • Oneida Lake

  • Delaware River

  • Grand Lake

  • Three Rivers (Pittsburgh)

  • Lake Wylie

  • Lake Conroe

  • Lay Lake

Places I’ve Been on a Boat (2):

  • Lake of the Ozarks

  • Lake Michigan (Chicago)

Places I’ve Visited But Have Not Boated (3):

  • Lake Amistad

  • Hudson River

  • St. Johns River

Forty-four total. Looks like I need to work on the area west of the Mississippi a little bit better.

What’s your number? Past tour venues only.
